- About the founder
A CELTA certified English teacher and philosophy professor, Amy is also an American and has lived in too many states to count. About a decade ago she became an expat, residing in Paris, Amsterdam, and now in beautiful Lisbon, Portugal. This adventure moving through the globe included studying languages including Spanish, French, Dutch, Japanese and Portuguese. As an avid traveler, experiencing new cultures and learning languages have defined her passion in life, and she adores teaching English because of the opportunity not only to teach people from from all over the world, but to see how these learning experiences have a real positive impact on her students' lives (and on her own!)
